Vinland Saga - Thorfinn - Thorkell
Personally, I am very happy with how this turned out! I was not a fan of the 3D render's colors on Thorfinn (highlight-yellow hair, face looked a little too harsh when).Man, the statue looks too pale, and Thorfinn's head sculpted looks odd compared to what has been shown in the promo.
That's due to harsh lighting when they took the promo shots. It looks better from photos I saw. I uploaded this pic from their live stream: static.myfigure...
The Shinka Studio rep on their livestream did say that they're planning to improve Thorfinn's head sculpt, and change the eyes so he looks more towards Thorkell.
They also mentioned that if this statue does well, they might be interested in making another diorama of the Thors vs Askeladd fight (ep. 4)!!! Hope that's in the books.
The only nitpick I have is the whitening (?) at the tips of Thorfinn's hair. I don't think it's needed.
Other than that, I think it looks pretty much perfect. Now I do hope the mass-produced version has the same level of details/quality!
