Dungeons in Elder Scrolls Online are challenging group activities with elaborate level designs and brutal boss encounters that usually reward some of the best loot in the game.
There are many different types of Dungeons in ESO, some more challenging than others. Public Dungeons, as the name suggests, are open to everyone, and you can spot other players while exploring and slaying enemies. These are usually harder than something like Delves and Group Dungeons, and unless you have a decent team or a solid solo build, we don't recommend trying those.
With that said, if you're looking to explore these ultra-challenging regions of the game, you're in the right place. Here are all the Public Dungeons in ESO, as well as their locations.
What are Public Dungeons in ESO?
Before we get into the list of all Public Dungeons you can explore in ESO, it's best to clarify what Public Dungeons are and what they offer, especially since there are so many different types of dungeons in the game.
As mentioned previously, Public Dungeons are more challenging versions of Delves. You can spot them on the map with their small cave-like symbol, which is quite different from that of Delves. Structurally, they are similar to Delves, each with unique mechanics, tenacious enemies, and bosses. Every Public Dungeon also has a quest associated with it, and you must complete it to clear the dungeon. Every Zone has at least two Public Dungeons.
Like other Dungeons in the game, every Public Dungeon has its own gear set, whose items drop randomly from opening chests within the dungeon and by defeating bosses. You can also find one Skyshard within them, though they are not easy to reach.
