Tsukasa is Hanako's younger twin brother. His unclear intentions are masked by a strong love for his brother. Before being killed by Hanako, the two were shown to be very close. His disposition appears cheerful and overwhelmingly childish, but will switch on a whim into a more unsettling demeanor. Tsukasa seemingly acts impulsively and relishes the thrill of the moment. Both Yugi twins have opposing beliefs; while Hanako stresses the importance of maintaining a peaceful balance between humans and supernaturals, Tsukasa believes that the two should conduct themselves how they please, regardless of possible consequences. Tsukasa is his brother's foil, granting wishes to the dead as opposed to Hanako, who entertains the whims of the living. He dons a black short-sleeved kimono and a grey hakama atop a white button up underneath. Opposite to Hanako's white seal and hakujoudai assistants, he has a black seal on his right cheek and is assisted by the sinister kokujoudai. Tsukasa also holds the power to take the form of a black origami crane. He has a notorious affinity for eating glue. Tsukasa works with his assistant, Sakura, to change the rumors of supernaturals in the school to fulfill his own ulterior motives.
